Detailed project

NB: this form is filled entirely by the ones submitting the innovation.

What is the issue addressed?

Mobility is one of the most responsible for the carbon footprint of all our leisure activities because we often use a car.

How is the problem solved?

Caroster is an easy and free app for organizing group carpooling for an event, a party, a seminar, a sports event, a camp, a ski trip… It helps optimize the number of cars needed to go to any kind of event, especially outside cities.

What is the customer target?

Festivals, sport clubs, companies, conference centers, associations, municipalities or any kind of event we didn't think of.

How is this solution different?

We keep it as simple as possible and mobile-friendly. We are open source. We have an external API (application programming interface) to connect to other systems. We want to go global and see the project replicated and adapted to other regions. We want to use the data for research on the future of event mobility in collaboration with universities. (We are missing some features yet, but that's why we are here)
